Tabs missing (disappeared) from ribbon in Outlook 2007
I just installed the ActionThis plugin for Outlook 2007 and it was somehow conflicting with the LinkedIn plugin and was causing all the tabs in the ribbon to disappear. This meant I couldn't reply to or forward open email items.
I figured it had to be something with the plugins, and because the ActionThis plugin is more important, I disabled the LinkedIn plug (goto Tools > Trust Center and click Add-ins) and it's all working fine now.
If you're experiencing the same problem with Outlook plugins, try disabling them one by one and finding out which ones are conflicting.

same issue - LinkedIn toolbar caused Message tab to disappear

Thanks for this post, because I was losing my mind trying to figure out why the Message tab kept disappearing (but it wasn't consistent or all the time) until I read this post. I turned off the LinkedIn toolbar first, and that seems to have fixed it but I'm going to keep an eye on it. In the meantime, I'm going to let LinkedIn know about this bug so they can fix it!
