I always knew there had to be a feature in Outlook to schedule the sending of an email for a certain date in the future, I just never had the motivation to actually find it until this week.

In Outlook 2007 (it is probably available in older versions as well), when composing a new email goto the Options tab, and click the Delay Delivery button, set the date and time you wish the message to be sent, and send the email as normal.

I just installed the ActionThis plugin for Outlook 2007 and it was somehow conflicting with the LinkedIn plugin and was causing all the tabs in the ribbon to disappear. This meant I couldn't reply to or forward open email items.

I figured it had to be something with the plugins, and because the ActionThis plugin is more important, I disabled the LinkedIn plug (goto Tools > Trust Center and click Add-ins) and it's all working fine now.
